The Bluesin' Side were born in 2013, as the brainchild of two guitarists founders (Luke and Ange). Both leave behind various experiences into a lot of bands in Genoa, where they could perform and show their roots, which lie precisely in the Blues: Luke, more purist and lover of the Blues of the origins (as Mississippi Blues from Muddy Waters, BB King, Buddy Guy up to the most recent Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler), and Ange, lover of Blues more progressive leading later to interprets as Hendrix, Vaughan, Alvin Lee and so on. Hence the name of the band, which is to emphasize both the common thread of a genre of music that has made history, both the two different souls, and two different ways of interpreting and playing the Blues. The band offers her new songs (of which Luke is the author of the lyrics and music), which is then extremely seasoned, arranged and mixed by Ange. What emerges is not the usual Blues cotton fields, but has more of the flavor of the sea: it is a mixture of Blues in more modern genres and reinterpretation of the lesson of the greatest (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Back Sabbath, Deep Purple etc.), sinking the roots in the ground, their land: in fact this is the array of blues, in every place and in every soul.
After a series of auditions with various drummers, the band (which plays in its performances as a "Power Trio"), is completed with the expert drummer Marco, who was also very active into the Genoese of cover bands. In 'October 2014, after one year of a hard work, they released their first album entitled "At long last out!", which title is just to identify the assiduous and meticulous work required to make it happen: 11 new tracks in English, for which was also attended by virtuoso musicians of the Genoese underground as: Valerio Frizzo, Andrea Podesta, Clara Costanzo.
In 2015 Bluesin 'Side have dedicated themselves to the creation of a second album soon to be released, which requires the presence of as many tracks, and the fixed inclusion of a new member as a female voice: Marina. The next work promises to show the flexibility and the versatility of its interpreters, always under the sign of the good Blues and fine musical tradition.
